The Role of the Awareness Department
This role is divided into two parts:
1- Raising awareness of the importance of water in our lives.
2- Promoting water conservation and instilling a culture of optimal water use among citizens, so that we benefit from it in the least amount and at the lowest possible financial cost.
Activities of the Awareness Department
The Awareness Department develops an annual plan, approved by the Chairman of the Board, to be implemented throughout the fiscal year. This plan aims to raise awareness of the importance of water, cultivate a culture of water conservation, and preserve water resources. The activities include:
Establishing new cooperation protocols with international organizations such as the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) and UNICEF Egypt, which are particularly concerned with children's health.
Implementing activities for all segments of society, especially children, in cooperation with the Alexandria Directorate of Education.
Organizing water caravans and providing various services of interest to citizens.
Organizing internal awareness campaigns for employees in all branches and stations of the company.
Organizing field awareness campaigns, such as awareness campaigns for butcher shops before Eid al-Adha.
Organizing awareness campaigns with population and medical caravans in cooperation with the Ministry of Health. Participating in celebratory events such as Alexandria National Day, Orphan's Day, and Earth Day.
