The Chairman of the Alexandria Water Company inspects the Agami and North Coast Customer Service Center and the Abu Youssef Water Pumping Station.
As part of the Alexandria Water Company's commitment to continuous field monitoring and improving the level of services provided to citizens, Engineer El-Sayed Rayan, Chairman and Managing Director, conducted a field tour that included the Agami and North Coast branch and customer service center, and the Abu Youssef Water Pumping Station at kilometer 21. He was accompanied by Dr. Amir Hegab, Vice Chairman and Head of the Commercial Sector, Engineer Walid Khader, Head of the West and North Coast Production and Distribution Sector, and Engineer Janet Malak, Head of the Projects Sector.
The tour began with an inspection of the customer service center, where Engineer El-Sayed Rayan was keen to communicate directly with citizens, listen to their inquiries and complaints, and direct that they be investigated and resolved promptly. He emphasized that customer satisfaction is the company's top priority.
The Chairman also inspected the workflow within the branch and reviewed the ongoing renovation and development work, which encompasses various parts of the branch. He directed that the work be completed quickly and according to the highest quality standards, providing a suitable and dignified environment for both customers and employees. Engineer El-Sayed Rayan emphasized that field monitoring is one of the most important tools for performance improvement, stating:
“We continuously strive to make the citizen our focus, and through field visits, we seek to understand the needs of citizens and employees on the ground, and to quickly address any challenges or observations. We also stress to all sectors the necessity of exerting maximum effort to improve service levels and expedite work completion, while adhering to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.”
Following this, Engineer El-Sayed Rayan and his accompanying delegation proceeded to the Abu Youssef Water Pumping Station at kilometer 21, where they inspected the ongoing replacement and renovation work. They also reviewed the operational rates and water pressures, directing that the development work and the pumping station's efficiency be completed quickly, which will contribute to improving and sustaining drinking water services in the areas within its catchment area.
⚫️ At the conclusion of the tour, the Chairman of the Alexandria Water Authority stressed the importance of continued field monitoring of various work sites, emphasizing that developing the work system and improving service quality requires rapid response, continuous coordination among all company sectors, and teamwork to achieve the best possible level of service provided to citizens.
