Engineer Mamdouh Raslan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Holding Company for Potable Water and Wastewater, stated that the company organizes national campaigns to raise awareness of the necessity of rationalizing water consumption, in partnership with 8 ministries and concerned parties, where the “Water Conservation Week” campaign was implemented in 21 villages, under the title “ Every point makes a difference.” The total activities carried out during the week amounted to 3,386 activities, to raise awareness of 926 thousand citizens.

Engineer Mamdouh Raslan said, in cooperation with the Ministry of Endowments, to train 10,000 preachers and raise awareness of the need to rationalize water consumption in 120,000 mosques, and in cooperation with Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, to train preachers and organize awareness campaigns in Al-Azhar institutes, while in cooperation with the Coptic Church, 1,000 are trained. From pastors, to organize awareness seminars in churches.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Wastewater added that advertising materials are being produced (songs to rationalize water consumption - infographic advertisements - documentaries - television advertisements) about rationalizing water consumption, and published on social media (YouTube - Facebook).
