The southern region and some places in the western and central neighborhoods of Alexandria witnessed an epic of fruitful work undertaken by Eng. Ahmed Gaber Shehata, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director himself, in the presence of both Eng. Howaida Ali Suleiman, Head of the Southern Region Production and Distribution Sector, and Eng. Mr. Rayan, Head of the Western Production and Distribution Sector. And the coast: Eng. Mahmoud Salama, Director General of South Networks, Mr. Mamdouh Abdel Gawad, Director General of the General Administration of Security, Mr. Ashraf Fouad, Director of the Al-Qabbari Branch, Mr. Qutb Ibrahim, Director of the Amriya Branch, Mr. Nashat Rabia, Director of the New Noubaria Branch, and Mr. Hamada Dawoud, Agent of the Amriya Branch. Where a group of meter readers, inspectors and conductors launched organized performance campaigns in the villages of Elisha and Suleiman in Nubariya and the areas of Amriya, Dekheila and New Hadara. The campaign team in the villages of Elisha, Suleiman, and the Al-Amriya area explained that a new division of the blocks had been made and the secrets had been updated and registered, in addition to dealing daily with 200 properties to inspect meters and networks and to collect arrears.
The work group in Dekheila and New Hatra also added that a comprehensive survey, inspection, and statistics had been conducted to classify the meters that need maintenance or change.
Accordingly, Engineer Ahmed Jaber stressed during the campaign the necessity of exploiting the support of the senior political leadership in an optimal way by following the instructions issued with the priority of directing the people in marginalized areas to the importance of contracting with the company and installing prepaid meters in tourist villages and commercial stores. In addition to conducting a comprehensive survey of the meters and reviewing and correcting the readings to facilitate the service for the Alexandrian citizen and provide it in the best way.
