With reference to what was reported on various social media outlets and published on 2/12/2019 regarding the presence of a chlorine gas leak inside the Seyouf station; Engineer Ahmed Jaber Shehata, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director, denies the existence of any chlorine gas leakage inside the station; Based on His Excellency’s directives, Engineer Gaddafi Ibrahim Mohammed, General Director of Production and Maintenance of Sharq Stations, accompanied by Mr. Amin Saad, representative of the Health Directorate and responsible for taking periodic samples, went through all stages of water production and the chlorine hangar and reviewed the chlorine injection points, and there was no leakage in any hangar. The wards and Swords station are fully operational and in their natural condition.
There are no complaints from the school complex and the surrounding areas regarding the presence of any smell of chlorine gas, and the students are having a safe school day and the families are enjoying a peaceful life.
