Under the auspices of the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Wastewater and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), a pre-concluding workshop was held in the period from April 1 to 4, 2019, to “prepare a manual for commercial sector procedures,” to include all work procedures for the commercial sector and unify the documentary cycle for the sector in line with The new commercial regulations, in cooperation with the commercial sector of the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Wastewater, headed by Dr. Mohamed Hisham Afifi, Head of the Financial and Commercial Sector, and the commercial sectors and integrity support departments of the subsidiaries.
Based on the directives of Mr. Eng. Ahmed Jaber, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director, Dr. Rasha Ramadan, Director of the Customer Service Department - Central, and Ms. Sahar Essam, a specialist in the Integrity Support Department, participated in the workshop.
The workshop addressed the unification of work models for the processes that were discussed and unified in previous workshops, namely (meter reading - collection - issuing bills - revenues - meter maintenance - subscriptions - complaints - customer service - measurements - secret connections and secret minutes). He also participated in the workshop. Some of those concerned from the commercial sectors of the affiliated companies, in addition to representatives of the integrity support departments of the affiliated companies in the governorates of: Alexandria - Cairo - Giza - Matrouh - Sohag - Dakahlia - Gharbia - Sinai - Damietta - Luxor - Menoufia - Assiut - Fayoum - North and South Sinai.
Over the course of four days, the participating companies discussed the latest draft of the aforementioned process models to update them and come up with a unified and comprehensive guide for the procedures and models for all commercial sector operations at the level of subsidiaries, in the presence of Dr. Maha Khallaf, Director of the Water and Sanitation Management Program (WWMP) at the German Agency for International Cooperation GIZ, and Professor / Ghada Abdel Wahab, General Manager of Human Resources at the Holding Company, Mr. Sanad Abdel Aziz in the Commercial Sector of the Holding Company, Ms. Iman Raafat, Director of the Integrity Support Department at the Holding Company, Mr. Mohamed Abdullah, Accountant in the Commercial Sector of the Holding Company, Dr. Ghada William, and Dr. Sharif Al-Jarhi is a commercial and financial consultant in the drinking water and sewage management project, and engineer Rasha Zakaria is a follow-up and evaluation consultant in the drinking water and sewage management project.
It is worth noting that the Integrity Support Program is one of the projects of the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) implemented in Egypt.
