Yesterday, the General Administration of Public Relations and Media at the Alexandria Drinking Water Company organized a distinguished introductory symposium on the importance of participating in the referendum on constitutional amendments, under the patronage of Engineer Ahmed Gaber Shehata, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director, hosted by Professor Dr. Mayada Abdel Qader, Professor of Public Law at the Faculty of Law, Alexandria University, and in the presence of All the company’s leaders and an elite group of workers in various sectors, especially the participation of the General Department of Awareness and Community Participation for the purpose of obtaining sufficient background on the subject to subsequently contribute to disseminating it at the level of the company’s stations and branches to educate and raise awareness among workers.
Following the Republican Peace, the symposium began with a speech in love with Egypt, then Engineer Ahmed Gaber gave an opening speech in which he welcomed all attendees, and stated that: The scales and calculations of the world have become different, and that is what we are currently witnessing in terms of the decisions taken, so we have no choice but the balance of power to measure the extent of the effectiveness of our decisions on world level, and this will not happen except by establishing a strong constitution through which a politically strong Egyptian state will be rebuilt, increasing its strength day after day.
Then His Excellency continued that the purpose of organizing the symposium is to increase the cognitive awareness of the constitutional amendments among the company’s human cadres, as they are future leaders, so that they are fully aware and motivated to participate effectively for the advancement of the nation.
Jaber recommended the necessity of coming out and participating because it is the best evidence of civilization and everyone’s desire to support our beloved homeland, Egypt, in addition to being the protective shield for the achievements we have achieved on the ground in light of the internal and external challenges we have faced over the past years with determination and will in order to preserve the freedom of the homeland and the integrity of its lands. And building a bright future for future generations.
For her part, Dr. Mayada Abdel Qader presented; Following an explanatory video presentation about constitutional history in Egypt; A comprehensive explanation of the amended constitutional articles was then opened, and a fruitful discussion session was opened to exchange opinions and inquiries about the topic of the symposium, which resulted in a tangible positive impact on the interaction of the attendees in the hall after making them aware of the mechanisms of the topic.
