A training course was held at the training center of the Drinking Water Company in Alexandria - within the framework of the training needs programs entitled “Water Safety and Security Plans”
In the period from January 15 to 16, 2020, a group of engineers responsible for water safety and security plans at the company’s stations.
The intensive course covers the basic concepts, information, and tools of the water safety and security methodology, how to apply it, and the stages of its implementation.
This is in accordance with the standards issued by the World Health Organization guide issued in 2009, as well as Ministry of Health Resolution No. 458 of 2007, Annex No. 2, regarding monitoring water quality.
The course was presented by chemist Ahmed Al-Shami - Director of the Water Safety and Security Department and a certified lecturer in the Career Path Program on the Water Safety Plans Program.
We extend our thanks to those in charge of the training center, especially Engineer Khaled Sultan, Director General of the Training Center, and to Mr. Engineer Adel Bassiouni, Director of the Technical Training Department, for overcoming all obstacles, and to the honorable Mr. Joseph Jamil, who exerted great efforts in coordinating all the work of the course, and to colleague Mahmoud Saeed, and to all the colleagues in attendance.
