Today, Eng. Ahmed Gaber Shehata, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director, led a field visit campaign with the aim of following up on the various works of the Alexandria Water Company in the national projects currently in place, in addition to the development operations in the company’s facilities.
Engineer Ahmed Jaber explained that the campaign began with reviewing the latest renovation works that had been carried out and the construction of the Muharram Bek and Al Balad branches, where the engineering drawings were reviewed with the projects sector and the divisions of offices and departments were supervised, with recommendations to take into account the provision of ventilation and good lighting, and support a healthy and safe area for workers.
Then we moved to the Moharram Bey customer service outlet to monitor the conditions of the employees and ensure the customer’s satisfaction by providing all services in an appropriate manner. We dealt directly with more than one customer and they confirmed that things were going well inside the outlet by completing all necessary procedures without disruption.
As part of the development work of the Mahmoudiyah axis and the accompanying replacement and renewal of dilapidated lines; The change and installation of a 500 mm diameter line was inspected to feed and improve the service in the areas of Karmouz, Mahmoudiyah, and even Mina al-Basal.
Regarding the new housing units in the Bashayer Al-Khair 3 area, we have confirmed the installation of (6,822) meters with a diameter of 3/4 inch and (22) meters with a diameter of (2) inches, and the installation of the rest of the secondary and general meters in all residential units in the area is being completed.
The locations for installing the meters were determined, taking into account the distances necessary for implementation, in accordance with what was agreed upon with Lieutenant Colonel Sameh Mansour in the Northern Military Region, the supervisor of the mechanisms for establishing Bashayer Al-Khair 3 facilities.
The traffic ended with supervision of the latest results of the collection campaign on Irfan Street in Muharram Bey, the collection of arrears, the control of the meter system, and the elimination of violations of establishing car washes without a permit and installing hidden connections.
