Dr. Salah Bayoumi, Vice President of the Holding Company for Potable Water and Wastewater, witnessed the procedures for handing over water safety and security accreditation certificates for the supply systems of the Nozha, Sharqi and Mariout 1 water stations via video conference to Mr. Engineer Ahmed Gaber, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Alexandria Drinking Water Company, in the presence of representatives of the General Administration of Quality and Affairs. This comes within the framework of the directives of the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, and the Holding Company for Potable Water and Wastewater to improve services provided to citizens and emphasize the quality of drinking water in the governorate.
Mr. Dr. Salah Bayoumi thanked the employees of the Alexandria Water Company and the company’s wise leadership for their efforts in obtaining water safety and security certificates, to provide safe drinking water for citizens, adherence to quality standards, and taking all precautionary measures that ensure the continuity of producing drinking water that conforms to standard specifications.
Mr. Engineer Ahmed Gaber stressed the commitment to cover the largest possible number of drinking water stations to monitor all risks in the various supply systems, activate corrective measures, and address the concerned authorities in this regard in order to improve the water system in Alexandria Governorate.
