Amid precautionary measures for “Orphan Child Holiday Celebrations” at the Alexandria Water Company
The Alexandria Water Company held an Orphan’s Day celebration, under the patronage of Engineer Ahmed Gaber, Chairman of the Water Company’s Board of Directors and Managing Director, in cooperation with the company’s charitable association, Dr. Safaa Al-Sharif, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Alexandria, and Dr. Magda Galala, Undersecretary of the Social Solidarity Directorate in Alexandria. Sheikh Muhammad Khashaba, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments, Professor Magdy Al-Badawi, President of the Alexandria Workers Union, Pastor Bavli from Al-Haramain Church, and members of the House of Representatives in Alexandria.
The ceremony was held at the Maamoura Youth Center, in the presence of more than “150” children and “100” families from charitable societies and orphanages. The day was spent in a family atmosphere filled with warmth and happiness, playing with the children.
Engineer Ahmed Jaber, Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors, also stated that the company is accustomed to celebrating Orphan Children’s Day, to bring joy and happiness to children on this day, and to send a message clarifying that we are next to them at all times and in any place, and not just the people of Alexandria.
