Engineer Ahmed Gaber, President of the Alexandria Drinking Water Company, conducted an inspection tour of Al-Mansheya Station (2), during which he followed the alignment and readiness of the company’s equipment and vehicles, as part of preparing for emergency situations.
He inspected the renovation and restoration work at the Manshiya Water Station (1) in preparation for obtaining the Technical Sustainable Development Certificate (TSM), which is one of the most important certificates obtained to confirm adherence to standards and standard procedures in operation and maintenance.
During his tour, he continued the replacement and renovation of the Furn al-Jaraiya water station, which includes replacing and renewing a number of (4) pumps in the refining house and the electrical panel consisting of (6) sub-cells and another general, low pressure with a complete change of cables, and replacing and renewing the external expulsion line in the house from 600 mm. To 800 mm steel with suction and exhaust pipes for (6) pumps, replacing and renewing the turbidity line feeding from Al-Mansheya Station (1), 600 mm long, 100 m long, and planting with a 600 mm roll before the entrance to the tunnel on Street 218.
He concluded his tour by visiting the sewing workshop at the Manshiya Water Station (1) to meet the company’s needs for kits for stations and workshops and occupational safety and health equipment, which also manufactures for other companies.
Jaber said during his tour of the Sharqi station that the station is one of the company’s oldest stations, as it was established in 1860 AD. Its design capacity reaches 510 thousand m³/day and it holds ISO and TSM certificates.
