Fruitful cooperation between the Drinking Water Company and the Future Protectors Association for Care and Development

Engineer Marwa El-Derini (President of the Future Protectors Association for Welfare and Development, No. 1727 of 2004, and Secretary-General of the Egyptian Union for Water and Wastewater)
And Mrs. Iman Rashad (Executive Director of Al-Thamarat Charitable Society, No. 1534 of 2003)
The two associations contributed to paying part of the project for laying water line pipes in the Daraj area in the village of Abis Al-Awal, which serves more than 500 families with a length of 6,500 meters of pipes.
The Future Protectors Association contributed an amount of 155,000 (one hundred and fifty-five thousand pounds)
Al-Thamarat Charity Association also contributed an amount of 70,000 (seventy thousand pounds), out of the total cost of the project amounting to 1,081,000 (one million and eighty-one thousand pounds).
Engineer Ahmed Jaber Shehata also discussed ways of cooperation between the Alexandria Drinking Water Company and the two associations regarding the two associations’ contributions to equipping the School of the Drinking Water and Wastewater Company, which will be opened soon.
It is considered one of the first schools specialized in the field of water and sanitation in the Republic.
