Mr. Dr. Ahmed Moawad, Vice President of the Holding Company for Potable Water and Wastewater, at the Technical Secondary School for Potable Water and Wastewater, where they visited the classrooms, inspected the condition of the students, talked to them, listened to the explanation, and followed the progress of the educational process. They also visited the workshops, laboratories, control room, clinic, library, and meeting room.
It is also worth noting that the school accepts academically outstanding students who will be provided with job opportunities according to the needs of the Water and Sanitation Company.
Then they went to the workshop, which runs for (5) days and is funded by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) under the title “Reducing Water Loss.” A guidebook was printed to reduce unaccounted for water losses.
For his part, Dr. Ahmed Moawad pointed out the importance that the political leadership attaches to this important field, in order to preserve the water point and work to rationalize consumption, in addition to the state’s efforts to accelerate the installation of advanced and prepaid meters to work to reduce commercial losses.
For his part, Engineer Ahmed Jaber reviewed the company’s efforts in dividing the networks into isolated areas (DMA and DMZ) and developing an annual plan to end a large number of DMZs and achieve the highest return from unaccounted for water.
