Ahmed Gaber, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of the Drinking Water Company in Alexandria, attended the climate and water awareness forum for the future of our children within the national campaign to rationalize water consumption (Every Point Counts), in cooperation with the Holding Company, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the European Union, and the Agency. German Center for International Cooperation, in coordination with Cairo Governorate
This comes in the presence of Dr. Khaled Abdel-Al, Governor of Cairo, and Engineer Mamdouh Raslan, President of the Holding Company for Potable Water and Wastewater.
Mr. Tobias Krause, Advisor to the Minister and Deputy Head of the European Union Delegation, Dr. Oliver Petrovic, Deputy Representative of UNICEF in Egypt, Mr. Frank Hartmann, the German Ambassador to Egypt, Mr. Hanne Maurz, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Cairo, and Mr. Arvydas Daunor Avicius, the Lithuanian Ambassador to Cairo.
The celebration witnessed a number of competitions and interactive activities. With the aim of teaching children the correct and optimal behaviors in dealing with water, in addition to other competitions in drawing, coloring, solving puzzles, games for adventurers and water heroes, and a mission in the fourth floor through which children impersonate characters through a game to search for the cause of the water outage.
