The Governor of Alexandria praises the development of Al-Manshiya Station (1) after obtaining the Sustainable Technical Management Certificate

Major General Mohamed Al-Sharif, Governor of Alexandria, accompanied by Engineer Ahmed Gaber, Head of the Alexandria Drinking Water Company, visited Al-Mansheya 1 station, after its development and obtaining the Technical Sustainable Management Certificate (TSM), with a capacity of 380 thousand m3/day, to serve about 800 thousand people in the Abis 1 and 2 areas. 7, 8, and from Al-Qabbari to Al-Ajami.

The Governor of Alexandria praised all the development work that took place at the station, which was established in 1968 and serves a large segment of citizens.

Major General Mohamed Al-Sharif watched the Alexandria Drinking Water Company’s rain-fighting equipment lined up inside the station, praising the company’s efforts in dealing with crises. He also visited the station’s laboratory, sample collection procedures, and modern devices to monitor the quality system inside the station.

He inspected the sewing workshop that the company established to meet the needs of its workers regarding equipment, and unify the uniforms for customer service, security, and sectors dealing with the public, to unify the identity of the company’s employees.

The Governor of Alexandria thanked Engineer Ahmed Gaber, President of the Alexandria Drinking Water Company and all the employees, for all the Alexandria Drinking Water Company’s stations having obtained the Sustainable Technical Management Certificate, thus becoming the only company in the Republic whose stations have all obtained the certificate. He praised the efforts and services provided by the company in All fields in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030 and sustainable development.

from his side; Engineer Ahmed Jaber reviewed the station’s previous status compared to the development that occurred after obtaining the Sustainable Technical Management Certificate.

He said that the Alexandria Drinking Water Company obtained the full mark for ten stations with a design capacity of about 3.5 million cubic meters per day, explaining that the Sustainable Technical Management Certificate is an international certificate granted to drinking water and wastewater facilities (stations - networks) and desalination plants, and is concerned with the field of resources. Human safety, occupational health, operation, maintenance, and quality control, ensuring optimal use of available resources, rationalizing consumption, ensuring the work environment, quality drinking water, and safe sanitation.
