A tour by the head of Alexandria Water to follow up on the implementation of Decent Life projects

Engineer Ahmed Gaber, President of the Alexandria Drinking Water Company, conducted a field tour of all the projects supervised by the company within the presidential initiative “A Decent Life” in the southern Alexandria region, accompanied by Engineer Jwaida Soliman, Head of the Southern Region Sector, to follow up on the work of relocating water lines with lengths reaching 2 kilometres. meters in a 30-kilometre desert area, within the framework of transforming facilities that conflict with national projects.

He also inspected the relay work of the 40th kilometer station and Mariout station lines with diameters of 1000 and 1500 mm, and the 500 mm line to feed the western desert road, the northern coast, Borg El Arab and Amriya, and inspected the welding work of the 1200 mm line.

The tour witnessed a passage through the city of Nubaria to follow up on the relay of the (500) mm line coming from Kom Ombo to the east of the desert road, with a length of (6) kilometers, where he visited the project to relay drinking water lines with diameters (1000 mm - 500 mm - 300 mm) in order to construct the Amriya-Kafouri bridges with lengths About 8 km.

He also inspected the desert road expansion project from kilometer 40 to kilometer 86 towards Alexandria, and followed up on the migration of drinking water pipe lines with diameters (300 mm - 500 - 700 mm - 1000 mm - 1500 mm) with high-density polyethylene pipes.

Engineer Ahmed Gaber, head of the Drinking Water Company in Alexandria, continued the work of welding polyethylene pipes at multiple points on the road, and completed the tour by passing through the areas of payment directed to empty empties under the road at kilometer 40 - 46 - 54 - 59 - kilometer 3 - kilometer 75 - kilometer 81, and visiting a water lifter kilometer 58 to follow up. Decent Life Works: Creating a 1000 mm water tank inside the lifter, following up on the summer operation of the lifting pumps, and visiting the Kilometer 40 water station to follow up on the station’s preparations for the summer and operation during the month of Ramadan.
