A cooperation protocol between the Alexandria Drinking Water Company and Kayan Charity Association in the areas of community participation and water delivery to the areas and families most in need.

Mr. Eng. Ahmed Gaber, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of the Drinking Water Company in Alexandria, signed a cooperation protocol with Kayan Charitable Society, known as No. 2714 of 2011. The association was represented by Ms. Tahani Mohamed Awad, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kayan Charitable Society. Community participation and spreading water awareness in the areas most in need in Alexandria Governorate, as well as delivering water to the areas and families most in need.

On the sidelines of signing the protocol, Kayan Charity Association paid the cost of delivering water to a number of needy families in the villages of Abis, as a first stage of cooperation between the two parties.

It is worth noting that the Community Participation Department of the Drinking Water Company in Alexandria has previously conducted field research for these families.
