Managing community participation and a community meeting in the village of Abu Al-Num in Alexandria Governorate.

Within the role of the Alexandria Drinking Water Company in the Presidential Initiative “A Decent Life” to develop the villages of the Egyptian countryside, and based on the instructions of Mr. Eng. Ahmed Gaber, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of the Alexandria Drinking Water Company, the Community Participation Department of the Alexandria Water Company held a community meeting in the village of Abu Al-Num, in the presence of the Chairman of the Alexandria Water Company. The local unit and a number of senior opinion figures in the village, where a civil society committee was formed to cooperate with the Alexandria Water Company in the work carried out by the company in the village, as well as the field survey process, as well as an inventory of citizens’ requests related to drinking water.

The administration also cooperated with the technical support sector and engineering of the Nuzha branch in the process of exploring the village in preparation for the field survey process with the aim of identifying the families most in need in the village to deliver water to them in cooperation.
