The German Embassy delegation visited the Mansheya Water Station (2) in Alexandria and praised the efficiency and sustainability of the station.
Engineer Ahmed Gaber, President of the Drinking Water Company in Alexandria, received a delegation from the German Embassy, headed by Holger Ihle, Head of the International Cooperation Department at the German Embassy, accompanied by (Natalie Magdalena, Frances Nestor, and Mrs. Jaida Al-Shamaa from the German Embassy, and Dr. Maha Khallaf, Director of the NDWMP Project at the German Cooperation Agency). International GIZ, and both Engineer Fayez Badr and Engineer Sherif Morsi at the German Agency for International Cooperation).
The delegation inspected the “Mansheya 2” water station, to follow up on the work of the marine clarifiers and filters, and the pure hold, and to watch the chlorine leak maneuver, and the maneuver to enter closed spaces.
The delegation praised the station’s preparedness and the continued maintenance of occupational safety and health procedures, standard operating and maintenance procedures, and the renewal of the T.S.M Sustainable Technical Development Certificate, which is granted after careful inspection and review to fulfill all requirements in accordance with standards for operation and maintenance, quality control standards, occupational safety and health, and human resources.
Engineer Ahmed Jaber indicated that the company is keen to develop its stations and provide its services with the best quality to keep pace with modern developments in the field of drinking water to provide the best services to the citizens of Alexandria Governorate.
