Alexandria Water Company obtained first places in the companies’ championship for its fifty-fifth session.

Engineer Ahmed Gaber, President of the Alexandria Water Company, confirmed the company’s interest in strengthening the values of competition, good morals, and working in a team spirit that practicing sports creates, as part of the participation of the Alexandria Water Company teams in the Corporate Championship No. (55), which bears the name of the late Dr. Hosni Ghandar, former president of the Federation of Companies.

Alexandria Water Company participated in seven games:

(Boxing - athletics - cross country - table tennis - chess - football - basketball).

It won first places with a total of (48) medals, ranging from gold, silver and bronze, as follows:

• Athletics with (35) medals *

(15) Gold Medal – ( Silver Medal – 12) Bronze Medal

And the first place cup

• Cross country, first place gold medal

And the championship cup.

• Boxing with a number of medals

(4) Gold Medal - (3) Silver Medal - Bronze Medal

• The football team won first place and the gold medal

• The basketball team won first place and the gold medal

• The table tennis team won third place and a bronze medal

The chess team won third place and a bronze medal
