Final of the Occupational Safety and Health Skills Development Competition in Alexandria Water
In light of the interest in applying occupational safety and health standards and requirements and maintaining a safe work environment, and in the interest of continuing to carry out work with the utmost safety and training workers on it, the Alexandria Water Company, headed by Engineer Ahmed Gaber, receives the final of the Occupational Safety and Health Skills Development Competition, which is organized by the Holding Company for Potable and Wastewater. Sanitary facility at Al-Mansheya Station (2), under the supervision of the General Administration of Occupational Safety and Health, headed by Brigadier General Amr Al-Sheikh, from 12/3 to 12/14/2022.
The competition includes practical training on occupational safety and health procedures through (safe work in enclosed spaces - controlling chlorine leakage).
Engineer Mamdouh Raslan, President of the Holding Company for Potable Water and Wastewater, also recommended to those working on the competition the need to work on developing the technical and practical skills of workers in affiliated companies through permanent training and making an effort to improve the drinking water and wastewater sector in Egypt.
It is worth noting that the number of participants in the competition is (154) contestants from (22) affiliated companies nationwide.
