A joint cooperation protocol between Alexandria Water and the Ammar Al-Ard Foundation

Within the framework of joint cooperation between the Alexandria Drinking Water Company and charitable institutions,

Engineer Ahmed Jaber Shehata, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director, signed a cooperation protocol with the Ammar Al-Ard Foundation, known as No. 4566 of 2012, headed by Mr. Mustafa Hosni Abdel Salam, Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees.

On his behalf, Mr. Abdullah Gad, Executive Director of Projects at the Corporation.

The protocol included ways of cooperation between the two parties in the areas of community participation, delivering water to the areas and families most in need, and raising water awareness in Alexandria Governorate.

Engineer Ahmed Jaber also stated the keenness of the Alexandria Drinking Water Company to cooperate with civil society, including charitable associations and institutions, in order to serve our most needy families in all the regions and villages served by the Alexandria Drinking Water Company.

In order to ensure community participation, the Alexandria Drinking Water Company established a specialized department to deal with civil society and conduct field research in the villages most in need. The administration has contributed to delivering water to 13,070 families since 2017.
