Renewing the accreditation of the TSM certificate for the Maamoura and Nozha stations.

Engineer Ahmed Jaber, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director, announced that the Technical Sustainable Management Certificate (TSM) for the Maamoura and Nuzha stations has been renewed for the fourth time in a row and without any comments.

This comes thanks to the continuous support of all the company’s leaders and continuous follow-up and overcoming obstacles in all aspects of the company. To obtain a sustainable technical management certificate, five elements must be present: human resources - occupational safety and health - standard operation - standard maintenance - laboratory quality control.

This certificate is granted through the General Administration of Technical Inspection of the Holding Company for Potable Water and Wastewater. It is a certificate supported by the German Ministry of International Cooperation and the German experts GTZ. It is considered a continuation of the application of special procedures for all aspects related to the stations, and thus all stations and networks and the requirements required of them are followed up.

It is worth noting that the Nozha station was established in 1995 with a design capacity of 200,000

Cubic meters/day for the purpose of serving the growing population expansion, especially in the Smouha area, which supplies clean water to the eastern neighborhoods.

As for the Maamoura station, it was established in 1911 with a design capacity of 240,000
