Alexandria Water organizes a major water convoy in the city of Bashayer Al-Khair (1) and (2)
Under the patronage of Mr. Engineer Ahmed Gaber, Chairman of the Alexandria Water Company, Mr. Colonel Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Director of Bashayer Al-Khair City (1) and (2), and the Security Director of the Urban Development Project in Bashayer Al-Khair City,
The Awareness Department organized a major water convoy in which many service agencies in Alexandria participated.
The convoy included the Armed Forces sales outlet in the Northern Military Region, the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade’s exhibition for discounted goods, and a customer service vehicle belonging to the Ministry of Electricity and Energy to provide its services to the people of the city. The Ministry of Health also provided family planning services and free examinations to the people, and women’s clubs held an exhibition for discounted handmade products. The Cub Scouts of Our Sons in Our Eyes Association, and the Egyptian Red Crescent Society, which carried out awareness campaigns to rationalize water consumption, and the Ministry of Culture also participated in displaying a skirt and a face painting workshop for children.
A committee including chemists from the laboratories and research sectors also participated in the convoy, as well as managing an opinion poll to take citizens’ opinions on the services provided by the company.
The Awareness Department has conducted field campaigns for residents to encourage rationalization of water consumption and hung informational posters in the city to encourage guidance. It has also provided interactive games for children and drawing and coloring workshops, and a mobile customer service vehicle has provided all services to the public.
Engineer Ahmed Jaber stressed the importance of implementing such convoys to enhance the company’s awareness, community and service role, noting that these convoys positively affect citizen behavior towards preserving the national projects implemented by the state.
