Alexandria water and cooperation with civil society to provide services to the areas and villages most in need.
The partnership between the Drinking Water Company in Alexandria and the civil society in Alexandria Governorate is vital in achieving sustainable development in the village and the areas most in need.
From this standpoint, Mr. Ahmed Jaber Shehata, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director, received a number of representatives of civil society in Alexandria Governorate, and they are:
Mrs. Marwa El-Derini
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Qualitative Union for Water and Wastewater and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Future Guardians Association.
Mrs. Eng. Fatima Al-Zahraa Rushdi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Foundation, and the impact remains.
Mrs. Iman Rashad

The steps for extending a water line in the village of Al-Zuhur (one of the villages of Al-Montazah countryside) were discussed. The length of the water line to be implemented in the village is 1788 m with a pipe diameter of 6 inches. It serves more than 100 families in the village. Thus, the contribution of civil society amounted to 426,450 pounds, as the Al-Thamarat Charitable Association had previously contributed 146,450 pounds and the Ahmed Ghoneim Foundation. For development, with an amount of 50,000 pounds, and the Upper Hand Association, an amount of 18,000 pounds, and a number of donors contributed an amount of 26,000 pounds.
It is worth noting that a field survey of the village was carried out through the Community Participation Department of the Drinking Water Company in Alexandria to study the needs of the village in terms of drinking water. Civil society has been addressed through the administration to meet these needs.
