Under the auspices of Mr. Mamdouh Raslan, Chairman of the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Wastewater, and within the framework of cooperation between the operation and maintenance sector of the Holding Company and the Drinking Water Company in Alexandria.
In view of the great importance that the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Wastewater attaches to the exchange of experiences between the subsidiaries, and its interest in applying maintenance in accordance with standard procedures, examination procedures and receipt of spare parts.
The Alexandria Water Company, headed by Eng. Ahmed Jaber, Chairman and Managing Director, is hosting a workshop to train the attendees on maintenance, assembly, testing and dismantling of all types of (Roman balls) for the stations, in coordination with the General Administration of Sustainable Technical Management (TSM).
It is noteworthy that the companies participating in the training are the Qalyubia Company, Canal Cities, Marsa Matrouh, Gharbia, Buhaira, and Kafr El-Sheikh, in order to exchange scientific and practical experiences between the subsidiaries and standardize maintenance work, tests, and specifications for Roman ball drinking water pumps.
Mr. Ahmed Jaber welcomed the attendees and expressed his great admiration for the workshops that work on exchanging experiences between the subsidiaries, because it is necessary to pay full attention to the maintenance process because it works to reduce the cost per cubic meter for stations and networks.
His Excellency also praised the efforts made by the sustainable technical management, and the evaluation of stations and networks in coordination with the operation and maintenance sector of the holding company, through which the company evaluates its work and makes adjustments, if any.
