Five-a-side corporate football tournament in its fifth session in the youth city in Abu Qir, Alexandria.
Under the auspices of Mr. Mamdouh Raslan, Chairman of the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Wastewater, and in the interest of the Holding Company to continue to support sports in subsidiaries, and to build bridges of communication between workers in various drinking water and wastewater companies.
Mr. Ahmed Jaber, President of the Alexandria Water Company, and Mr. Major General Mahmoud Nafie, Head of the Sanitary Sewerage Company in Alexandria, inaugurated the five-a-side football tournament in its fifth session in Alexandria, during the period from 17-23 June 2023.
The opening speech was also delivered by Mr. Mamdouh Raslan, in which he greeted the attendees from all companies, wishing them success, preserving sportsmanship, self-control, distance from fanaticism, and maintaining the good relationship between the players and each other, whether on or off the field. Mr. Engineer Ahmed Jaber, President of the Alexandria Water Company, delivered his speech in which he thanked Mr. Engineer Mamdouh Raslan, the deputies and those in charge of the competition in the holding company for the efforts made to make this great sporting achievement, and he also welcomed the attendees in their second country, Alexandria, wishing them to spend a time dominated by brotherhood and love. His Excellency stressed that the matches will be at a high level of sportsmanship and good morals, and said that the main objective of holding these tournaments is to increase the bonds of love and friendship between our sons from the subsidiaries.
Mr. Major General Mahmoud Nafeh, Head of the Sanitary Sanitary Company in Alexandria, delivered a speech in which he expressed his thanks to Mr. Eng. Mamdouh Raslan and those in charge of the championship. He welcomed the participating teams, wishing them success and preserving the spirit of affection and love among them.
