Coinciding with the governorate's 71st National Day, Major General Mohamed Al-Sharif, Governor of Alexandria, honored the workers of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Companies in Alexandria, in fulfillment of their efforts throughout the year.
This came in the presence of Eng. Mamdouh Raslan, Chairman of the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Wastewater, Mr. Eng. Ahmed Jaber, Head of the Alexandria Water Company, Mr. Major General Mahmoud Nafie, Head of the Sewerage Company, and members of the House of Representatives and Senate.
In his speech, Major General Muhammad Al-Sharif stressed that honoring today is the simplest thing that we can offer to the company’s employees due to the great efforts made by the employees that everyone praises, pointing out that these efforts contributed to passing the nucleus season safely, especially the heavy torrential rains that the governorate witnessed recently in light of Climate changes that the whole world suffers from.
Engineer Mamdouh Raslan, head of the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Wastewater, praised the cooperation and integration between the various executive agencies in the governorate, under the leadership of Major General Muhammad al-Sharif, Governor of Alexandria.
He stressed that the rains in Alexandria governorate are more abundant and for longer periods of time compared to the rest of the governorates, so they are dealt with with a methodology, integration and extraordinary effort by all workers in the drinking water and sanitation companies in Alexandria.
