The Minister of Housing and the Governor of Alexandria inaugurate the development work of the Moharram Bey and Al-Balad branch customer service centers.

Engineer Ahmed Gaber, Chairman of the Drinking Water Company in Alexandria, received Dr. Assem Al-Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Major General Mohamed Al-Sharif, Governor of Alexandria, and their accompanying delegation.

His Excellency also inspected the development work of the Moharram Bey and Al-Balad sub-customer service centers, which were rehabilitated once again to become the smart center.

The branch offers a new and innovative concept of customer service, as it provides all services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and during official holidays.

The smart center is an integrated electronic center that works non-stop. It is equipped with two self-service machines that help carry out all services such as (contracts - complaints - inquiries - paying bills - recording readings - etc.) with complete ease and ease, without the use of employees. There is also a service employee. Customers are ready to help when needed and answer any inquiries, in line with the state’s policy of facilitating customers.

The center serves about 280,000 subscribers, and covers the entire Muharram Bek area up to Ras al-Tin, in addition to the Bashayer al-Khair area (1, 2). About 250 customers visit it daily. His Excellency toured the center to check on the progress of work and recommended quickly completing services for citizens.

His Excellency also witnessed the opening of the new conference hall, which was equipped with the latest architectural styles in terms of interior design, sound systems, lighting and furnishings, for the purposes of conferences, workshops, training courses and all occasions, in light of the company’s plan to utilize assets and rationalize spending.

The governor praised the great efforts made by the Alexandria Drinking Water Company in the governorate, especially in times of crises and emergencies, and the full coordination through infrastructure development. His Excellency also praised the development work that took place in all branches and customer service centers.

In his speech, Engineer Ahmed Gaber, President of the Alexandria Water Company, stressed that in light of the tremendous scientific and technological progress that the world is witnessing these days, the company seeks to develop and provide everything new to serve and comfort its customers from the Alexandrian community.

This came in the presence of Dr. Sayed Ismail, Deputy Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Dr. Jacqueline Azer, Deputy Governor of Alexandria, Engineer Mamdouh Raslan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Holding Company for Potable Water and Wastewater, Dr. Salah Bayoumi, Vice President of the Holding Company, Major General Assem Shukr, Vice President of the Holding Company, and Major General / Mahmoud Nafie, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sanitation Company in Alexandria, and a number of ministry and governorate officials.
