In light of the interest of Engineer Ahmed Gaber, President of the Alexandria Water Company, in the sports field, and supporting the values of competition, and its role in instilling good morals, working in a team spirit, as well as exchanging experiences and creating a spirit of brotherhood and love among colleagues at the level of subsidiaries.

The Alexandria Water Company's sports teams participated in the Republic Championship for Companies No. "56" in Port Said, in which they participated in seven games: boxing, athletics, cross-country, table tennis, chess, football, and basketball.

The final results of the tournament resulted in Alexandria Water Company winning 49 medals, represented by 24 gold medals, 14 silver medals, and 11 bronze medals, as follows:

Athletics won 37 medals: 19 gold medals, 11 silver medals, and 7 bronze medals.

Boxing won 7 medals.

3 gold medals - 2 silver medals -

2 bronze medals.

- Cross country won the gold medal.

- Football won the gold medal. -Basketball won the silver medal.

Chess won the bronze medal.

- Table tennis won the bronze medal.
