An expanded field tour by the head of Alexandria Water to the levers and customer service centers..

Engineer Ahmed Gaber, President of the Alexandria Water Company, made a field tour that included the Wardian Customer Service Center, the Agami and Sahel branches, and the “6th of October” Customer Service Branch and Center. He was accompanied by Dr. Amir Hegab, Head of the Commercial Sector, and the branch and customer service managers.

He requested that His Excellency make an inventory of the stopped and damaged meters belonging to each branch and replace them with prepaid meters, in order to ensure that citizens are held accountable for actual consumption and not to burden the citizen with any additional burdens, and to solve all problems related to the readings. He also followed up on collection work, external debts and arrears, and reduced the percentage of losses in the branch. He also ordered the reduction of illegal water use, the legalization of its conditions, and the establishment of new contracts for it. He listened to citizens’ complaints at customer service centers and ordered the speedy completion of their procedures as quickly as possible.

Dr. Amir Hijab added that the commercial sector seeks to provide the customer with distinguished levels of services.

Then, His Excellency, accompanied by Engineer Mohamed Ibrahim, Head of the West and Coast Sector, and the sector’s directors and officials, visited the Al-Qabbari Engineering and “6” October cranes, and the cranes of Al-Max, Dekheila, Abu Youssef, “6” October, Kilo “26” and the coastal Burj Al-Arab, and inspected the concentration point located in the crane. He visited the old Burj Al Arab and raised the city of Burj Al Arab, during which he followed the operations of pressure, maintenance, replacement, renewal, and its work plan.

At the end of the tour, His Excellency followed up on the work of laying 12 kilometers of 12-inch pipes on the Hassan Allam Road, then followed up on the work of relaying the 1000 mm line in the Egypt Delta Project, and finally went through the work of relaying the 1000 mm line on the Gharbaniyyat Drain to expand the road.
