The Governor of Alexandria inspects the readiness of the Alexandria Water Company’s equipment in the face of crises..

Engineer Ahmed Gaber, President of the Alexandria Water Company, received Mr. Major General Mohamed Al-Sharif, Governor of Alexandria, Dr. Jacqueline Ather, Deputy Governor, and a number of executive leaders in the governorate to follow up on the process of lining up equipment in the central area of Sharqi Station.

This is to inspect the equipment and its readiness to receive the winter season, control floods, rainwater, and natural and environmental disasters, and intervene immediately to control crises and emergencies that may face Alexandria Governorate, and maintain traffic flow during heavy rains.

Major General Mohamed Al-Sharif, Governor of Alexandria, praised the readiness of the arrayed equipment, the role of the Alexandria Water Company and its constant preparedness in facing crises and working hand in hand to preserve the beauty of our city. His Excellency also praised the professional and technical competence of the Alexandria Water Company’s employees.

Engineer Ahmed Jaber also confirmed the readiness of the company’s equipment and vehicles to confront crises and deal with them immediately, and periodically and continuously monitors the weather condition and climate changes to confront the challenges that may occur during heavy rains.

It is worth noting that the Alexandria Water Company participates in draining and controlling rainwater, through concentration points located in hot areas and many different areas in Alexandria Governorate.
