Strengthening cooperation between the water and sanitation companies and the Civil Society Committee.
The Alexandria Drinking Water Company and the Civil Society Committee were organized, headed by Mr. Eng. Ahmed Gaber, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director, to discuss supporting and developing areas of cooperation between state institutions and civil society organizations.

Engineer Ahmed Jaber began his speech by welcoming the committee members to the attendees. His Excellency explained the importance of cooperation between government institutions and civil society institutions, including charitable associations and foundations, in achieving a positive impact on society by promoting sustainable development and improving the quality of services provided to citizens, as well as strengthening partnership and building Confidence in achieving common goals between government institutions and civil society.
Major General Mahmoud Nafi welcomed the committee members and urged the civil society attendees to make more efforts to make sanitation connections for the most needy families.
The meeting's discussions were useful and positive, as the importance of developing cooperation between government institutions and civil society and increasing water awareness among citizens was discussed.
The convening of the Civil Society Committee at the Alexandria Drinking Water Company is considered an important step in laying the foundations for effective participation with civil society, and thus improving the quality of services provided to citizens.
