Today, the spark for joint cooperation activities regarding the “Their Health, Their Future” project began in coordination with the Ministry and affiliated departments, which aims to educate students and children in schools about rationalizing water consumption, climate change, and the importance of sound and healthy behavioral habits that greatly affect the health of our children, and to raise their awareness of the nutritional and health aspects.
It was also agreed to nominate a number of teachers in the various education departments in the administrations of Montazah First, Montazah Second, Sharq, and Al-Jumrok, as a first stage, to undergo the TOT course to qualify trainees through the Coordination Committee and the General Directors of the relevant departments of the Ministry of Education.
It was noted that the project will quickly begin the first phase, starting next Saturday, for training, followed by the second phase of training one of the sustainable development and social education officials for each of the previously mentioned schools, with a number of 150 targeted schools to train a group of teachers at the level of educational administrations and qualify them on methods of rationalizing consumption and exploitation. Technical and educational personnel that may help develop students’ skills to conserve water, and measure the impact on children and students before and after the end of the project in order to preserve every drop of water.
Engineer Ahmed Jaber also extended his sincere thanks to the attendees and praised the importance of the role of schools and teachers in instilling educational and health values to reach the desired goals of the “Their Health, Their Future Initiative” to reap its fruits and create a generation aware of rationalizing the consumption of every drop of water.
