Alexandria Water announces the renewal of the TSM certificate for (3) stations..

Engineer Ahmed Gaber, President of the Alexandria Water Company, announced that the Technical Sustainable Management Certificate (TSM) for the Al-Zohour station has been completed and approved by the General Administration of Inspection and the Operation and Maintenance Sector of the Holding Company, without comments.

Al-Zohour station is the oldest station in the Arab Republic of Egypt that operates with ultra-fine membrane (UF) technology, as it has passed all quality standards and TSM certification requirements.

It is worth noting that the Al-Zohour station joined the service in 2013, and operates with a design capacity of 5,500 cubic meters/day and serves part of the center and city of Burj Al Arab.

The Technical Sustainable Management Certificate (TSM) was also completed and approved for the Al-Mansheya (1) and Al-Jaraya oven stations, after reviewing the files and inspecting the general location of each station.

Al-Mansheya Station (1) was established in 1976 to meet the needs of western Alexandria. It operates with a design capacity of 380,000 cubic meters/day and serves parts of the neighborhoods (Central - Al-Gomrok - West - Agami - Amreya) and the center and city of Burj Al Arab.

As for the Furn al-Jaraya station, it was established in 1964 with a design capacity of 50,000 cubic meters/day and serves part of the Gharb neighborhood.

In order to obtain a sustainable technical management certificate, five elements must be present: human resources - occupational safety and health - standard operation - standard maintenance - laboratory quality control. This is considered a sustainability of the application of special procedures for all aspects related to the stations, and thus all stations, networks and required needs are followed up. Of which.

The committee praised the extent to which Alexandria water stations applied the standards and requirements of technical sustainable management (TSM), and the effort made to achieve this honorable form.
