Alexandria Water obtains the first level for the outstanding security performance of its subsidiaries

Based on the directives of Mr. Engineer Mamdouh Raslan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Holding Company for Potable Water and Wastewater, in activating the positive role of competition between companies, and developing and raising the efficiency of security departments among affiliated companies.

Mr. Engineer Ahmed Gaber, President of the Alexandria Water Company, received the first level shield for outstanding security performance in the field of securing facilities, as part of five companies holding the same level, namely Alexandria Water, Cairo Water, Cairo Drainage, and the Giza and Sohag companies.

The competition aims to raise the level of security performance in companies, by adopting all security controls and procedures, and following up on scientific and technological development in the fields of insurance, by using surveillance cameras - metal detector gates - G.B.S system for cars - radio devices - level of security personnel and familiarity with work tasks - devices. Fire and theft alarms, as well as in the field of securing the company’s general office, stations, warehouses, vehicle management, and scrap storage places.

Engineer Ahmed Jaber stressed in his speech that the company does not hesitate to support all sectors of the company with all the capabilities that qualify it to take a prominent position among the ranks of the subsidiaries and all other companies, and that the Alexandria Water Company supports the security sector with all capabilities and training courses that qualify them to guard the company’s facilities. The company also created a security archive through which it is easy to obtain all data as quickly as possible, and also worked to standardize their uniforms to distinguish them and appear in a proper and honorable manner.

His Excellency congratulated the company's security sector and handed over the competition shield to the Director General of Security and the directors of his departments.
