Alexandria Water continues cooperation with the Egyptian Water and Wastewater Specification Union

The Egyptian Specific Water and Wastewater Union continues its effective contribution to achieving sustainable development for the most needy villages in Alexandria Governorate, as it received Mr. Engineer Ahmed Gaber, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Alexandria Drinking Water Company and Managing Director.
Engineer Marwa El-Derini, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Water and Wastewater Federation and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Future Protectors Association for Care and Development.
Ms. Iman Rashad, Executive Director of Al-Thamarat Charitable Society.
Dr. Manal Wahiba is a member of the Board of Directors of the Generation of Hope Association for Social Development.
The mechanism for extending a water line to the village of Al-Makar in Al-Nahda was discussed, with a length of 2,500 meters of 4-inch diameter pipes, and the cost of extending the water line amounted to 3,800,000 pounds.
Charitable associations and institutions participated in paying for the project to extend a water line in the village of Al-Makar, under the umbrella of the Egyptian Specific Union for Water and Sanitation, where the charitable associations contributed as follows: -
Generation of Hope Association for Social Development paid 1,590,000 pounds of the project cost.
The Future Protectors Association contributed 140,000 pounds.
The Al-Thamarat Charity Association also contributed $110,000 towards the cost.
