Alexandria Water signs a cooperation protocol with the “Aamal” Foundation for Community Development in the areas of community participation..
Mr. Eng. Ahmed Jaber, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director, signed a cooperation protocol with the Business Foundation for Community Development, the community arm of the Businessmen Association, known as No. 3924 of 2017. The cooperation protocol was signed by Mr. Engineer Mohamed Fawzi Mohamed, Chairman of the Foundation’s Community Service Committee, as a representative of the Foundation.
The protocol stipulates cooperation between the two parties in the areas of community participation and water delivery to the areas and families most in need.
The two parties agreed to cooperate with each other to deliver water to 128 families in the areas of Al-Amriya, Old Burj Al-Arab, and the villages of Al-Nubaria.
In order to activate the cooperation protocol between the Holding Company for Potable Water and Wastewater, represented by the Alexandria Drinking Water Company, and the Specific Federation of Rotary Clubs, the Specific Federation of Rotary Clubs, headed by Mrs. Ola Hussein Al-Nouri, Chairman of the Community Service Committee in the Rotary District, paid the cost of delivering water to 97 families in the villages of the Montazah countryside.
This comes within the framework of the Alexandria Drinking Water Company’s keenness to cooperate with civil society in order to achieve sustainable development in regions and villages, and to provide services to all segments of society, especially the families most in need.
