“Alexandria Water” participates in the joint practical training for Alexandria Governorate Saqr 130..
Mr. Major General Mohamed Al-Sharif, Governor of Alexandria, opened the Saqr 130 joint practical training lineup for the Alexandria Governorate, the implementation of which is supervised by the Popular and Military Defense Forces under the leadership of Major General Walid Hamed Al-Hamaki, and in the presence of Major General Pilot Yahya Mansour, Director of Nozha Airport.
The lineup was opened with the Republican Anthem, followed by a presentation of the most important projects being implemented in Alexandria Governorate, including tunnels, bridges, and the development of squares, especially Misr Station Square, the most important of which is the rainwater management project, separating it from sewage, and how to benefit from it.
This is in addition to the command and control center, which is considered a cultural shift in dealing with crises and emergencies, and because it has the latest modern technology, it is the first of its kind in the Middle East and Africa.
The aim of this alignment was to limit the number of equipment owned by companies and institutions and the extent of their readiness to use it in the event of crises or disasters that are likely to occur at the governorate level.
The Alexandria Water Company participated with 69 pieces of equipment, including loaders, cranes, transport vehicles, various vehicles - dewatering pumps - electricity generators - customer service vehicles. A field demonstration was also conducted on the ground to test the leakage of chlorine gas.
In his speech, Mr. Engineer Ahmed Gaber, President of the Alexandria Drinking Water Company, confirmed that the water company is an integral part of Alexandria Governorate, and that it is always on the front lines in emergency situations, and that it does not hesitate to provide everything it has for the sake of our beloved country, Alexandria.
All companies, executive authorities in the governorate and neighborhoods, the Ambulance Authority, the Red Cross, and Civil Defense also participated in the lineup.
