A field tour by the head of Alexandria Water to follow up on the replacement and renewal work of water lines in the new development areas

Engineer Ahmed Gaber, President of the Alexandria Water Company, inspected the replacement and renewal operations for the 1000 mm diameter conveying water lines at the entrance to the Al-Darisa area, with the aim of maintaining the quality of water transportation and improving the pressure level, which contributes to providing better service to the residents of the area.

Engineer Ahmed Jaber indicated that the company is currently working on finding solutions and alternatives to feed the new development projects in the areas of Sawari, west and east of the desert road and the express train, without affecting the quantities of water heading to the Margham area to ensure that it is not affected by the new projects.

His Excellency also confirmed that the company has implemented many urgent solutions in hot areas to increase the amount of water produced, in preparation for the expected increase in consumption during the summer.

He then headed to Al-Manshiya Water Station (1), during which he followed the progress of work inside the station, where he passed the workshops, ducts, filters, and the pump building, and also checked on the replacement and renovation operations being carried out at the station.

At the end of the tour, His Excellency went to the station’s administrative building and met with the engineers and work crew and issued his directives to follow up and continue maintenance work and solve problems as soon as possible to avoid malfunctions.
