Engineer Ahmed Gaber, President of the Alexandria Water Company, conducted a field tour that included a number of the company’s stations, branches, and customer service centers, in order to review the progress of work and provide the best services to citizens.
The tour included the Maamoura Water Station and the Abu Qir lift station, where His Excellency inspected the progress of work within them, and visited the pipes, filters, pump houses and chlorine. He also stressed the work of periodic maintenance and monitoring of pressures to avoid malfunctions. Then he visited the laboratory to ensure the safety of the samples and adherence to the highest quality standards to ensure safety. And the health of citizens.
He then went to the Mandara and Abu Qir branches and customer service centers, where he visited the offices and departments to follow up on the progress of work, listened to the complaints of some citizens, and issued his directives on the necessity of facilitating procedures and providing services in the shortest possible time.
He then met with the directors and officials of the branches, during which he stressed the commitment to collecting and reducing external debts and accelerating the replacement of old and damaged meters. He also recommended eliminating illegal (surreptitious) connections.
