The head of Alexandria Water witnesses the presentation of leadership cadres’ projects at the Alexandria Governorate Training Center..
Within the framework of the assignments of Lieutenant General Ahmed Khaled Hassan Said, Governor of Alexandria, to pay attention to raising the efficiency of the human element and to prepare and qualify the necessary human cadres working in the General Office of the Governorate and neighborhoods in light of sustainable development and Egypt’s Vision 2030, headed by Engineer Salah Nassar Shehata, Assistant Minister of Local Development, and under the direct supervision of Engineer Amira Salah, Deputy Governor of Alexandria, Dr. Iman Azmy, Deputy Governor of the Ministry of International Cooperation, and Engineer Iman El-Kholy, Director of the Alexandria Governorate Training Center.
Engineer Ahmed Jaber attended a committee to discuss and evaluate graduation projects for the leadership cadre preparation course at the Alexandria Governorate Training Center, in which qualified groups of the governorate’s cadres, including engineers and doctors, participate in the work of various research projects, in which the project to establish a bottled natural water factory affiliated with a water company won first place. Drinking water in Alexandria with the aim of making optimal use of the drinking water company’s resources and providing pure bottled water at a competitive price compared to other companies.
The idea of the project is based on producing bottled drinking water in different sizes, one liter, 600 ml, and 300 ml. The project achieves a profit return of 38% and the value of the assets is restored in the first year of the project.
Mr. Engineer Ahmed Jaber praised this project, especially after it met with the acceptance and approval of the Governor of Alexandria, who recommended its implementation, as it is a source of income for one of the governorate’s facilities, which is the Alexandria Drinking Water Company, and its profits benefit the Alexandrian citizen in terms of implementing service projects by the company to improve Services, work, maintenance, replacement and renewal of stations and networks. This project also helps train and employ an elite group of Alexandria youth.
Engineer Ahmed Jaber listened to the explanation of the water project team and promised them that he would take care of the project himself. He encouraged the research team, wishing them more success and excellence in this work. They are:

It is worth noting that the course activities include discussing 10 diverse projects, including ideas for protecting the environment, green projects, a bottled water factory, waste recycling, paving dirt streets in slum areas using interlock tiles, electronic applications for service governance, waste recycling management, and designing interactive maps that provide... A guide to all national services and projects to attract more investments, as well as a marketing platform, an awareness environment under a government umbrella that aims to market environmental services and projects and integrate the informal economy with the formal economy of the state with a unique name (Fresca), and an electronic system to receive and transfer requests to schools to save the public effort and time.
Engineer Ahmed Gaber congratulated all the young researchers, led by the owner of the project idea, Engineer Ramadan Mohamed, Director of Water Research at the Alexandria Water Company, wishing them further progress and success.
