"Alexandria Water" continues cooperation with civil society and the Egyptian Water Union..
Mr. Eng. Ahmed Gaber, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Alexandria Drinking Water Company and Managing Director, received Eng. Marwa El-Derini, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Water and Wastewater Union and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Future Protectors Association for Care and Development, where they discussed ways of cooperation between the Alexandria Drinking Water Company, the Egyptian Water Union and the associations cooperating with the water company in order to provide the service to all segments of society, especially the most needy families.
In this context, the steps for implementing the extension, replacement and renewal of water pipelines in Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq village were discussed, which is divided into 10 stages and has a total cost of approximately 16,000,000 pounds. The first stage of the project was paid through:
* Future Protectors Association for Care and Development, registered under No. 1727 of 2004.
* Ommar Al-Ard Foundation, registered under No. 4566 of 2012.
This comes within the framework of the Alexandria Drinking Water Company's keenness to cooperate with civil society with the aim of achieving sustainable development in the villages and areas most in need in Alexandria Governorate.
