The Cabinet's media center contacted the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Wastewater, which denied this news, stressing that there is no truth to the water company issuing a warning notice not to use water for drinking purposes, and that the circulated voice messages are baseless, and that no warning notices have been issued by any competent authority in this regard, stressing that drinking water in all governorates of the republic is completely safe and free of any harmful microbes or pollutants, and conforms to standard criteria and specifications, and is monitored around the clock through the laboratories and quality system of the holding company For drinking water and sanitation, and its subsidiaries, in addition to the supervisory role of the Drinking Water Regulatory Authority and Consumer Protection, and the Ministry of Health and Population, calling on citizens not to be led by this false information and to obtain information from its official sources.
