Alexandria Drinking Water Company, headed by Eng. Ahmed Gaber, Chairman and Managing Director, received an inspection committee to inspect the alignment and ensure the company's readiness to face the rainy season and floods, which consisted of representatives from the Ministry of Local Development, the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Wastewater, the General Administration of Occupational Safety and Health, the General Administration of Crises and Disasters, and the Director General of Crises and Disasters of Alexandria Governorate.

The committee visited the Mansheya (1) station, where it inspected a display and alignment of the company's equipment and devices, including emergency vehicles, pumps, cranes, loaders, and excavators, to ensure their readiness for rapid intervention in various emergency situations that may occur during the rainy season.

During the tour, a practical maneuver was also carried out to simulate a chlorine gas leak inside the chlorine room, to ensure the readiness of individuals and their ability to deal immediately with such incidents. The committee expressed its satisfaction with the team's performance and the speed of its response in dealing with the maneuver.

After that, the committee moved to the company's control and command center, where it inspected the main operations room responsible for crisis management and coordination with the concerned authorities during the rainy season.
