Chairman of Alexandria Water Company inspects the stations and lifts of the southern sector..
As part of the Alexandria Drinking Water Company's keenness to follow up on the progress of work and ensure the continuity of providing the best services to citizens, Eng. Ahmed Jaber, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alexandria Water Company, conducted a field inspection tour of the southern sector area, accompanied during the tour by Eng. Jawida Ali Suleiman, Head of the Southern Region Production and Distribution Sector, and a number of network managers in the sector.
The tour began with a visit to the Zahour station, which is distinguished by its advanced technology as it operates with an ultrafiltration system (ULTRAFILTRATION) using fiber membranes, with a design capacity of up to 5000 cubic meters per day. Then Eng. Ahmed Jaber and his accompanying team moved to Mariout Station (1) and Kilo 40 Station.
The tour also included inspecting the sugar beet lifts (1) and (2), in addition to the New Nubaria City water lifter, Kom Ombo water lifter, Kilo 58 water lifter, and Hegana water lifter. Eng. Ahmed Jaber concluded his tour by visiting the Kilo 26 desert water lifter.
In his speech, Eng. Jawida Ali Suleiman, Head of the Southern Region Production and Distribution Sector, pointed out that these field visits come within the framework of following up on the most minute operational details to ensure providing a distinguished service that suits citizens. We are also keen to develop the level of maintenance and raise the efficiency of stations in line with the latest international standards to ensure the sustainability and quality of water.
