Cooperation Protocol between Alexandria Water and the Environment Committee of Rotary District 2451 - Egypt ..

As part of joint efforts to raise awareness of the importance of rationalizing water consumption and preserving the environment, Eng. Ahmed Gaber, Chairman and Managing Director of Alexandria Drinking Water Company, signed a cooperation protocol with the Environment Committee of Rotary District 2451 - Egypt, represented by Dr. Maged Zekry, Chairman of the Committee.

The protocol aims to implement multiple activities including installing water-saving pieces in 30 schools in Alexandria in the first phase, in cooperation with the Alexandria Education Directorate, where the targeted schools were selected at 10 schools in each of the East, West and Central Alexandria regions. The protocol also includes implementing water awareness campaigns for students to educate them on the importance of conserving water and rationalizing its use, in addition to afforestation activities to enhance green spaces and improve the environment surrounding these schools.

This cooperation comes within the framework of the Alexandria Drinking Water Company's strategy to support environmental sustainability and enhance community participation in coordination with leading bodies and institutions.
