Alexandria Technical High School for Drinking Water and Wastewater Participates in the "Innovation Across Generations" Forum..
Within the framework of promoting innovation and encouraging young talents, Alexandria Technical High School for Drinking Water and Wastewater participated in the "Innovation Across Generations" Forum organized by the Faculty of Science at Alexandria University, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Abdel Aziz Qansouh, President of Alexandria University, and led by Prof. Dr. Sherine Khattab, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Science.
The forum witnessed a distinguished presence of Eng. Ahmed Gaber, Chairman of Alexandria Water Company, who participated in the opening session alongside a group of university professors, experts and specialists. In his speech during the forum, Eng. Ahmed Gaber stressed the importance of supporting talented youth and promoting innovation to achieve sustainable development, and that such scientific forums embody the meaning of innovation and cooperation between generations, and that our participation comes within the framework of Alexandria Water Company’s commitment to supporting talented youth and promoting innovation, which represents one of the main pillars for achieving sustainable development goals. Today, I saw honorable models of our talented students, and I commend the electronic soil irrigation project presented by students of the Technical Secondary School for Drinking Water and Sanitation, and that this project reflects an innovative idea in line with our orientations towards improving the efficiency of water resource use and preserving it. He also stressed that Alexandria Water Company will continue to support every initiative or idea that contributes to achieving Egypt’s Vision 2030 and developing the capabilities of our students, as they are the hope and the future. The students Ahmed Gabril, Mohamed Hamza, and Abdullah Alaa won third place in the competition, and were honored and presented with certificates of appreciation and the competition shield after a comprehensive presentation of their innovative project on electronic soil irrigation, which aims to control water waste and achieve sustainable development goals, and that this project reflects the students' creative abilities and highlights the importance of innovation in addressing vital environmental issues. Engineer Ahmed Gabr congratulated his students, wishing them further success, and stressed that this participation confirms the school's and Alexandria Water Company's commitment to supporting talented youth and providing opportunities that enable them to contribute effectively to sustainable development and provide innovative solutions to meet challenges.
