Alexandria Water organizes an awareness seminar on rationalizing water consumption within the presidential initiative "New Beginning"

Under the patronage of Eng. Ahmed Gaber, Chairman and Managing Director of Alexandria Drinking Water Company, and within the framework of the presidential initiative "New Beginning" that aims to enhance environmental awareness and rationalize water consumption, the company organized an awareness seminar in cooperation with the Church of Anba Wanas and Anba Louis.

The seminar was attended by a number of community leaders and citizens, and included lectures on the importance of rationalizing water consumption and the role of individuals in preserving water resources. An introductory seminar was also presented on the presidential initiative "New Beginning" and its development goals.

As part of the meeting's activities, the company organized a workshop to teach the principles of light plumbing, allowing participants to learn how to repair simple faults themselves to reduce waste. The importance of using water-saving parts and their benefits in reducing consumption was also explained, in addition to a presentation on the impact of climate change on the environment and water and the new services provided by the company to ensure improving water quality and the service provided to citizens.

Eng. Ahmed Gaber, Chairman of the Board of Directors, confirmed that the company is continuing its efforts to spread environmental and water awareness, noting that rationalizing consumption is a shared responsibility between individuals and institutions to preserve water as the source of life.
